Gold Coast Light Rail (Stg 1)

Gold Coast Light Rail (Stg 1)

The Gold Coast Light Rail project was one of the biggest public transport projects in the country, and the biggest world-class transport infrastructure project ever undertaken on the Gold Coast. As Queensland’s first ever light rail system, it represents a major step forward in transforming the city into a modern, accessible destination.

Ontoit (ISG Projects at the time) was appointed to lead the integration between the operator Keolis, the design team and the construction contractor through the bid phase. Our advice, combined with our co-ordination of the technical streams with the customer services approach and service delivery expectations from the client, was critical to the success of the bid which was awarded the contract.

We were engaged to provide:

  • A co-located team with the operator and financier to co-ordinate the technical response
  • Manage the bid execution for the customer experience
  • Support the technical and commercial teams to deliver a co-ordinated response.
