Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre

By 2025-29, more than 41,000 people will be diagnosed with cancer in Victoria annually, according to a state government report.

The Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC) is a $1 billion facility built for cancer research, treatment and care in the Melbourne suburb of Parkville.

The overall project also included refurbishment to and an extension above the Royal Melbourne Hospital under a separate managing contractor model.

Ontoit’s John Wiles assisted the Department of Health and Human Services in managing interfaces with the PPP concession, assessing contractor claims and reviewing the status of the project program. John was a member of the project leadership group.
